The goal of a Backgammon game is to shift your chips around the game board and bear those pieces from the board faster than your opposing player who works harder to do the same buthowever they move in the opposite direction. Succeeding in a round in Backgammon requires both tactics and good luck. How far you will be able to move your pieces is up to the numbers from rolling a pair of dice, and just how you shift your chips are decided on by your overall gambling strategies. Players use differing strategies in the different parts of a game based on your positions and opponent’s.

The Running Game Technique

The aim of the Running Game tactic is to entice all your checkers into your inner board and bear them off as quickly as you could. This tactic focuses on the pace of advancing your chips with no time spent to hit or stop your opponent’s pieces. The best scenario to employ this tactic is when you think you can shift your own checkers faster than your opposition does: when 1) you have a fewer chips on the game board; 2) all your pieces have moved beyond your opponent’s chips; or 3) your opponent does not employ the hitting or blocking plan.

The Blocking Game Plan

The main goal of the blocking strategy, by its name, is to block your opponent’s checkers, temporarily, while not fretting about shifting your checkers rapidly. As soon as you’ve established the blockade for the competitor’s movement with a couple of checkers, you can shift your other chips rapidly from the board. The player really should also have an apparent plan when to extract and move the chips that you utilized for blocking. The game becomes interesting when your competitor utilizes the same blocking technique.
