As we have dicussed in the previous article, Backgammon is a casino game of ability and good luck. The aim is to shift your pieces safely around the board to your inner board while at the same time your opposition shifts their pieces toward their home board in the opposing direction. With opposing player pieces heading in opposing directions there is going to be conflict and the requirement for specific techniques at particular instances. Here are the last two Backgammon plans to round out your game.

The Priming Game Plan

If the aim of the blocking strategy is to hamper the opponents ability to shift their checkers, the Priming Game plan is to absolutely stop any movement of the opponent by constructing a prime – ideally 6 points in a row. The Back Game plan is frequently used when you are far behind your opponent. To compete in Backgammon with this plan, you have to control 2 or more points in table, and to hit a blot (a single piece) late in the game. This tactic is more challenging than others to play in Backgammon because it requires careful movement of your chips and how the checkers are relocated is partially the result of the dice roll.
