The Essential Facts of Backgammon Strategies – Part Two
As we dicussed in the previous article, Backgammon is a casino game of talent and luck. The goal is to shift your chips carefully around the game board to your inner board and at the same time your opposition moves their chips toward their inside board in the opposing direction. With opposing player checkers heading in opposite directions there is going to be conflict and the need for particular tactics at specific times. Here are the last 2 Backgammon strategies to finish off your game.
The Priming Game Strategy
If the goal of the blocking plan is to hamper the opponents ability to move their checkers, the Priming Game plan is to absolutely block any activity of the opposing player by building a prime – ideally 6 points in a row. The competitor’s pieces will either get bumped, or end up in a battered position if he at all attempts to leave the wall. The trap of the prime can be built anywhere between point two and point 11 in your game board. After you have successfully assembled the prime to prevent the movement of your competitor, your competitor doesn’t even get a chance to roll the dice, that means you move your checkers and toss the dice yet again. You will be a winner for sure.
The Back Game Strategy
The goals of the Back Game technique and the Blocking Game tactic are similar – to hurt your opponent’s positions in hope to better your odds of succeeding, but the Back Game tactic uses different techniques to achieve that. The Back Game strategy is commonly employed when you are far behind your opponent. To participate in Backgammon with this plan, you need to control 2 or more points in table, and to hit a blot (a single checker) late in the game. This strategy is more challenging than others to employ in Backgammon seeing as it needs careful movement of your chips and how the chips are moved is partially the outcome of the dice roll.
