Backgammon its History – Today and Before
Backgammon is the original game in recorded history. Also known as the "little war," backgammon began in ancient middle east over 5000 years ago. In any case, Egyptians called backgammon "Senat," which was a close type of the present game played today. Centuries ago, only individuals in influence, the ruling figures of aristocracy like Egyptian queens, were allowed to play. The game started to spread worldwide over time. Distinctive Backgammon versions were created in various regions and societies, but the fundamental regulations of those variations resemble those of the archaic form . For example, The Greeks took hold of the game and called it by the title "bac gamen." From there, the English started playing backgammon in the 17th century and have continued to play it ever since. Backgammon and competing ancient games were not ever approved by most churches. The churches believe that the game was the tool of the Devil. This led clergy to abolish and burn the game. The abolishment and burning had never prevent people gambling on games and having fun.
Technology offers an additional arena for Backgammon. When different video games are for sale all-over the place, computer scientists in Artificial Intelligence (AI) use Backgammon for doing research, advancing and measuring AI theories and breakthroughs as a consequence of the simplicity of game principles and difficulties of plans.
